Still trying to pass a 6mm stone

First off, I've read through a bunch of your stories, and those of you who pass stones on a regular basis deserve to be knighted…

Almost two weeks ago I jolted awake in bed at 3:30am with the worst pain in my right side. I got up to go to the bathroom, and the second I was on my feet I dropped to the floor and screamed like someone had stabbed me. Anyway, I went to the ER and it turned out I have a 6mm stone, so they sent me home to pass it and set up a urologist appt for July (soonest they had). They gave me flomax, a narcotic for the pain, and something for nausea.

Now here I am again at 3:30 in the morning in pain, because for the last 8-10 hours I've felt like I need to have a bowel movement but nothing comes. The pain hasn’t moved since the ER visit, and with the amount of water I've been drinking, honestly one would think you could move a mountain with it.

1) is the pain I’m having normal for a kidney stone? 2) any advice at all is welcome on getting this devil stone out of me (I've tried a massage gun and going for walks on top of upping my water, and I also have a heating pad)

I've had 3 stones before but NOTHING like this. The first 2 I had some pain and they passed, and with the other I felt nothing until I went to the bathroom and heard that infamous “clink” in the bowl. So even though kidney stones aren't new to me, this pain is.

Thanks in advance for any advice

I've got a 6 mm stone too and I'm kind of nervous. It's been over a month and I've  only feel a slight pain  here and there.  Stories like yours make me anxious. I'm such a coward when it comes to pain.  Hope you feel better soon.
